The Emerald
Ash Borer
If you live in the Sioux Falls area you’ve more than likely heard of the Emerald Ash Borer recently; an invasive insect which migrated from Asia that feeds off of Ash Trees.
The Emerald Ash Borer only recently appeared in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but has been spreading across the U.S. since the 90s.
Treating Your Ash Tree
At some point you will need to get your Ash Tree treated, because it will eventually become infected.
Treatments are extremely effective. We can provide an injection of Emamectin Benzoate straight into the tree’s base every couple of years to stop the Emerald Ash Borer from infecting your tree. If your tree is already infected the treatment willkill them.
It’s important to have your tree looked at and treated by a professional. Store-bought products are much less effective.

The Importance of Treatment
Why is it so important to get your Ash Tree treated for EAB?
If you do not get treatement fast enough it can result in canopy dieback or even tree loss.
Removing a tree can be very costly. Some tree removal can cost anywhere between $1000-$4000 for each tree! That’s way more expensive than the treatment itself.
